eToro is the world's largest social trading platform with 30M+ users across 100+ countries. Multi regulated (FCA, CySEC, ASIC, FinCEN), and achieved SOC 2 Type II certification in February 2025, making it one of the few platforms with independent security auditing. All copy trading uses real money (no paper trading option on CopyTrader), and the Popular Investor program requires identity verification and sustained performance. However, the platform's display methodology can be misleading, only closed positions appear in stats, meaning traders can hold losing positions indefinitely to maintain high win rates. The platform also promotes its own products heavily.
